HIRE CAR WINS EUROBOSS DOUBLE HEADER

First EuroBOSS double header event saw 12 cars practice for saturday`s sprint race with Klaas Zwart/Ascari Judd on pole. A hard fight with Patrick D`Aubreby/Benetton Ford ended with rear hub failure on the last lap for D`Aubrebys ex-Schumacher Benetton so K-H Becker/Minardi Cosworth grabed a lucky second place. The Main Race over 18 laps on Sunday saw D`Aubreby (hired Klaas Zwart's spare car for this race), start from the back of the grid, Zwart, Kilty and Becker are disqualified for ignoring a drive through penalty for a false start…and therefore D`Aubreby was the lucky winner, and Becker was reinstated after organisers admitted they had penalised the wrong car. A hard battle between de Boer, Hansford and Milavec went to the rapid Dutchman on the last lap.
