Scott Mansell, 2004 EuroBOSS Champion and McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year finalist, will drive for Andretti Green Racing in the IRL Menards Infiniti Pro Series.
Beginning with the Infineon 100 at Sears Point on 28 August, Mansell will be behind the wheel of a Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone alongside Marco Andretti, the grandson of racing legend Mario Andretti and son of IRL IndyCar Series team owner Michael Andretti. Mansell will also drive the car for the Corning 100 at Watkins Glen on 25 September.
At the age of 16 Scott became the youngest ever driver to test an F1 machine and one year later he became the youngest British driver to competitively race a car of this power. Since becoming EuroBOSS Champion in 2004, Scott has impressed the likes of Red Bull Racing's Christian Horner when he tested for the Arden International F3000 team in December and more recently finishing a creditable sixth place out of sixteen and in the points on his debut Italian F3000 Pro Series race.
All the EuroBOSS drivers and organisers would like to offer Scott their best wishes and good luck.
