ENGINEER WINS KARTING EVENT!

Kamiel de Brue's engineer Sus Van de Walle wrapped up a sensational EuroBOSS season by clinching a fantastic win at the EuroBOSS Karting event at JPR Karting in St Niklaas, Belgium. Drivers, teams and supporters attended the event to celebrate the end of another successful season of competitive racing. 'Sus' won the day's shootout while the first of the 'drivers', Tony Hansford battling hard to take second with Klaas Zwart's engineer, Neil, taking the third step of the podium.

It had looked like Englishman Tony Hansford would be eliminated from the event following a number of agressive overtaking maneuvers that resulted in EuroBOSS Racing Director, Roger Cowman being pushed off the track twice. A stewards enquiry was held and Hansford was reinstated and instructed to keep the 'Boss' in fine wine and food for the 2006 season.

The event continued well into the evening with Frenchman Patrick D'Aubreby in a Benetton Ford HB V8 3.5 being crowned the Most Successful Driver in the EuroBOSS class and Dutchman Henk de Boer in his Coloni Cosworth V8 3.0 taking the Most Successful Driver mantle in the EuroBOSS Masters class.

"It has been a fantastic season and I congratulate all our teams and drivers and all those who have supported us at each event. Everyone worked hard this season for the benefit of participants and spectators and seeing such good support and appreciation from the fans has been excellent." explains Roger Cowman, Racing Director. "I'd like to thank everyone at JPR Karting, today's event has been excellent. Good karting, good food and a good band. A very good time has been had by all. The venue has already been pre-booked for next year when my grudge-match with Tony will no doubt be settled."
