Former EuroBOSS Champion Nigel Greensall in the Kockney Koi Benetton was fastest in session one, but winner at the recent Hockenheim race Ingo Gerstl pipped Greensall in session two. All chance in Saturdays qualification race however when Greensall cought and passed Gerstl and won by 19sec, followed by the forever young and fast Karl-Heinz Becker in third. Both Greensall and team mate Ian Dockerill had engine troubles and were unable to start race two. So Gerstl now had to worry about the fast and impressive Tyrrell of Frits van Eerd who was having to start back in 10th on the grid.
